vielen dank für die zuschriften. einige von euch sehen leider gar nichts, darum hier die anleitung:

navigiert euch auf maps.google.de zu den bahamas

(im suchfeld, nach bahamas suchen), positioniert den bildausschnitt über den buchten und macht einen screenshot (taste: druck oder print). öffnet nun ein bildbearbeitungsprogramm (z.b. photoshop) und legt dort ein neues dokument an. wenn ihr nun strg+v drückt, wird der screenshot in euer bildbearbeitungsprogramm übertragen.

ändert nun den bildmodus auf schwarz-weiss. dreht nun an der kontrastschraube. die einstellungen variieren von programm zu programm, aber wer hier am kontrast schraubt, sieht definitiv regelmäßigkeiten, die entweder aus bildüberlagerungen entstehen oder die abbildung gerader strukturen unter wasser sind.

annehmbar wäre, dass der höhenunterschied dieser strukturen so gering ist, dass man ihn nicht einmal beim tauchen feststellt. vielleicht wird die struktur nur (noch) durch korallen und anderen pflanzenwuchs gezeigt und ist bald gänzlich fortgespült, wie in den randbereichen.

ich habe kontakt zu national geographic und dem discovery channel aufgenommen. bislang erhielt ich keine antwort auf meine e-mail.

wer mag, kann dort nochmal nachfragen - vielleicht verleiht das der sache ja mehr gewicht.

thanx for your subscriptions. some of you unfortunately dont see anything at all on the photos. i am going to explain a good way to make the structure visible:

navigate on maps.google.com to bahamas

(just look for bahamas in the search field), take position on top of the bays in the north and make a screenshot (hit print on your keyboard). now open any software working with pixels (like photoshop) and open a new document. now hit "paste" to get your screenshot into the document.

look at maps.google.com: bahamas - lines under water

now change the mode of the picutre into black-and-white (greyscale). finally move the contrast as u like. the ways to get there are different in each software, but if you manipulate the contrast of the picture you will definetly see any parallel structure, coming from some kind of picture-overlay or from structures under water.

possible is, the difference of the heigh of this structures is only centimeters, even invislbe for divers, because they are to close. maybe the structure is only (left) there because plants and coralls cover it.

i wrote to national geographic and the discovery channel yesterday. no response to my e-mail til today.

if anyone else is interested in this please ask there too - maybe this puts more weight into it. knomseng ;)

heute morgen sah ich eine dokumentation ueber atlantisforscher. verschiedene personen untersuchten verschiedene plaetze der erde an denen sie die versunkene stadt atlantis vermuteten.

anschließend suchte ich auf maps.google.de die kuestenregion um die bahamas ab. seht selbst, was ich gefunden habe. die geradlinigen spuren sind kaum zu erkennen. ich habe die screenshots in photoshop (schwarzweiß, kontrast erhoeht) betrachtet, werde aber nicht schlau daraus.

handelt es sich um pixelfehler oder liegt hier, verborgen unter korallen ein stueck geschichte...?

this morning i saw a documentary movie about atlantis researchers. different persons analized different spots supposed to find the place atlantis can finally be located.

i looked on maps.google.com and checkt out the bahamas. please have a look by yourself and check out what i found here. straight lines and shapes almost not visible. i put the pictures into photoshop, turned them into black-white and rised the contrast. is this a pixelproblem from google? or do we see something historical here?
